Whiteout (2009)

A deputy U.S. marshal (Kate Beckinsale), the only one who was assigned to the Antarctic, to investigate a murder in the continent of ice for three days before winter comes. Accompanied by UN officials (Gabriel Macht) who is also investigating the murder.
